Modern technology is dumbing everything down. As one's attention span decreases things just disappear.

Robert, you seem to be taking exception to my automatic signature, "posted using BlogPress from my iPhone." How can anyone make the leap that modern technology is dumbing us down when obviously we're using technology to read, write, think, form opinions, learn (and explore avenues for increased learning), and share knowledge? This blog isn't for sharing personal feelings, like "I woke up this morning, went to class, felt bored, my teacher sucks, I went home and went back to sleep," which is quite prevalent on the Web. It's for researching and sharing the latest graphic design and web design news of interest to students and professionals. BlogPress and my iPhone are tools for facilitating this learning. As you can see, I've begun contributing regularly again thanks to this enabling technology. So before you dismiss anything as "dumbed-down," take a look for yourself at the content and make your comments from an informed point of view.
